A player at the Clearwater River Casino in Idaho walked away with a lot more than they bargained for on Sunday, July 31, 2022. The winner, who has opted to remain anonymous, claimed a US$191,163.89 jackpot from Aristocrat Gaming’s Dollar Storm-Emperor’s Treasure pokie, from a wager of only $2.00.
This prize is the second largest jackpot won at the casino in July. The largest amount was handed down on July 21, when a Lewiston woman also landed a jackpot of $1,541,533.11, the largest payout in the casino’s history.
Aristocrat’s Dollar Storm Emperor’s Treasure machine is a Wide Area Progressive pokie that is electronically connected to other casinos.
Dan Kane, General Manager at the Clearwater River Casino & Lodge was in a celebratory mood, following the win and congratulated the winner, saying
“Well, here we are again with another exciting life-changing jackpot amount win! They say lightning can strike the same place twice. Will there be a third?”
Exciting Introductions
Aristocrat Gaming has been making the news for more than just huge jackpots. The pokie manufacturer recently unveiled its award-winning Dragon Link machine product at its “Dragons” showcase event, held at Manila’s Solaire Resort & Casino on 19 July. The pokie will soon be available to operators across Asia.
The three-day showcase also drew attention to the company’s newest products, with Aristocrat’s executives in attendance.
Lloyd Robson, the General Manager of APAC at Aristocrat, said,
“It was an absolute pleasure to host our customers at our special showcase. The feedback on Dragon Link, and on our upcoming portfolio, was excellent. Of course, customers were focused on Dragon Link as a cornerstone for their ongoing strategy to deliver sustainable revenue growth while managing capital and cash flows.”
Aristocrat’s John Stevanja, Director of Product Marketing and Strategy APAC, at Aristocrat, added,
“Customers were very excited to see Dragon Link – it has had phenomenal success in other markets globally – and we’ve built this version specifically for the Asian markets with player selectable denominations, market-attuned jackpot profiles and cost to cover configurations to suit all venue types. It’s our most configurable game ever built for Asia.”
