Aristocrat has announced that Oriana Branon has been appointed as its new Vice President of Communications and Corporate Affairs.
Branon will report to the CEO of Aristocrat Gaming, Hector Fernandez, and join the company’s executive leadership team. Branon’s role is a newly created one that will see her manage all external and internal communications for Aristocrat’s Gaming division while operating as a strategic guide of the company’s environmental, social, and governance matters. Branon will additionally be tasked with the sustainability, ethical impact, and diversity concerns of the organization.
Fernandez introduced his new colleague, saying,

Oriana’s extensive communications background across business and consumer markets, stellar track record of storytelling, and commitment to social impact demonstrate she will be an incredible asset to our company during a time of rapid growth.”
Branon’s previous experience includes heading up corporate communications for Bill.com, and coordinating PR for Alaska Airlines.

Branon’s exemplary communications performance record makes her ideal for the job. She was previously recognized in PRWeek’s “Women to Watch” and “40 Under 40” segments. She was also featured as a Latina advocate in Latina Style and Forbes Magazine.
Branon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California and sits on numerous nonprofit organization boards that work towards empowering and providing opportunities to underserved communities. She has demonstrated a deep passion for mentoring women of color into professionals.
